On Wednesday, May 4, 2016, City Council will hold a public hearing to consider proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. The amendments, prepared by the Planning Office, are designed to provide additional flexibility to property owners and to continue implementation of the City’s Master Plan, adopted in 2012.

Among the amendments under consideration are updates to the parking requirements, home business regulations, and the uses allowed in the Central Business District. Also included is a new section of the ordinance to allow and regulate beekeeping on lots with one or two-family dwellings.

The draft amendments can be found online here. The public is encouraged to attend the May 4, 2016 hearing to listen, ask questions, and provide feedback. For questions, please contact Tim Corwin, Senior Planner, by phone at 603-448-1524, or by e-mail at tim.corwin@lebcity.com.
