We need your input!
As part of the ongoing Downtown Visioning Study and Tunnel Project, the City has created a second survey to solicit specific feedback about the various Alternatives developed based on the more than 800 comments received in the Fall. The Alternatives were originally presented at the second Public Meeting on Feb. 4, 2016. Complete presentation materials from that event are available for review on the Visioning Study project web page:
It's Easy to Help!
Please take a moment to answer the following questions to help the City and its consultant assess public support for different facets of the Visioning Study. Feel free to provide additional comments about why you like or dislike certain Alternatives.
: It is important to keep in mind that each of the survey questions should be considered independently of the other questions. The alternatives presented are completely interchangeable with each other and a ‘preferred choice’ for one facet of the project does not limit the choices available for any other facet of the project. As an example, a preferred alternative for improvements to the Hanover Street/Route 120 intersection does not limit the choice of alternatives for streetscape improvements along Hanover Street.
What happens next?
Based on the feedback provided, the City’s consultant will develop a “Preferred Alternative”, which will be presented to the public in Spring 2016.
Wait! There's more!
Since the Visioning Study and Tunnel Project has the potential to dramatically influence growth and development in downtown Lebanon, the City is particularly interested in hearing from existing property and business owners in the downtown area.
